Donna is a single parent with 4 children who had been made redundent from her part time job in the Post Office in July 2007.  She started training with us in November 2007 on our Adult Skillbuild programme. Donna achived a range of qualifications including Key Skills at level 1 and ECDL. She then went on to undertake an NVQ in Business & Administraion Level 1 which involved covering reception duties in our Youth Provision. During this time Donna demonstrated her ability as an admin assistant and when she completed her her NVQ was offered the role of Admin Assistant in our Adult Provision in November 2008. Donna stated that attending the course helped to build her confidence and make new friends.
