The People Business-Wales Ltd has achieved the Basic Skills Quality Mark. This prestigious award is the universally recognised quality standard for organisations that offer basic skills support to learners.
The company is proud of it's achievements in securing the quality mark as it is a reflection of it's experience and expertise in working with learners that need basic skills support in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The People Business-Wales Ltd secured the Basic Skills Quality Mark in 2008.

The latest presentation evening for the People Business-Wales Ltd was held on the 12th of November 2009 in the Council Chambers at the Vale of Glamorgan Council Civic Offices.

We were again honoured to have Jane Hutt the Minister for Children, Education and Lifelong Learning and the Assembly Member for the Vale of Glamorgan to present our learners with their awards. The Minister has been a champion of learning throughout Wales and a strong supporter of our learners in particular. This was reflected in her warm words of support and encouragement for the students and the goals of the People Business-Wales Ltd.

During the evening over 60 youth and adult students were presented with their qualifications. The majority, in fact, receiving multiple awards including Key Skills, Information Technology Qualifications, Literacy, Numeracy and Communication Awards, NVQs and Job Seeking.

Formal recognition was made by the Minister for all those students that had gone on to secure and sustain employment as a consequence of their time with The People Business-Wales Ltd

The People Business-Wales Ltd has been awarded an "Excellence in Training Young People" award for a second successive year

These prestigious awards are presented to organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to one or more of the five key stategic areas of the work of Careers Wales.
